All About Me!

My name is Kearston Janelle Dillard.  I am 18 years old and am really excited about being at Randolph-Macon Woman's College. I guess I could start out with a little life history.

I was born in Germantown, Pennsylvania (a small, historical part of Philadelphia) on March 2, 1981. I have an older brother who is now 21 and three years ago, surprised with a younger brother who is the light of my life.  I grew up in Suffolk, Virginia in a small farming community called Whaleyville, where the most exciting thing to do is to go across the street to the gas station.  Living with my two brothers, mother, and grandmother has been a wild experience.  As with most families, we had our ups but more often, our downs.  When my mom and grandmother would cry over bills, I was the one who made them smile.  Now that I am in college, they are providing for and aiding me in my college endeavor.

I have a great love for music.  I sing, dance, play piano/keyboard and write songs, stories, and poems as well.  My favorite sport is swimming, even thought I cannot swim that well.  I like to watch basketball, football, and weight lifting competitions.  I have two cats, both boys.  I love to work on computers and I plan to major in  Mathematics with a minor in education.

Overall, I guess I am a happy person.  Sometimes I stress over little things, but lucky for me, I have plenty of people who are willing to help me.  I hope to get the most out of life and do great things for other people.
