Childhood visited on our children.
Could you give up your only child if it meant saving her life.  If your mother gave you up, could you come to forgive her, or forget?  Our first play of the season looks at what we allow ourselves to become and the influence of childhood and the conclusions of a young mind on later life.  What starts as a hopeful deliverance has lasting repercussions and argues the point that the most profound consequences are sometimes hidden.
