VARIABLE STAR DH DRACONIS AND GALAXY NGC 3147


The variable star DH Draconis is the yellow-orange star to the left and slightly above spiral galaxy NGC 3147. DH Draconis is a Mira variable  with a period of 550 days.

This image was made by combining one 3-minute red exposure, one 6-minute green exposure, and one 10-minute blue exposure.
