PLUTO

Pluto1 The Hubble Telescope took this picture of Pluto and its moon, Charon, on February 21, 1994. Pluto’s diameter is 2320 km (1440 miles), and Charon’s diameter is 1270 km (790 miles). Charon is about 19,640 km (12,200 miles) away from Pluto. The angular separation between Pluto and Charon as seen from Earth at the time of this picture was only 0.9 arc seconds!
Pluto2 This image shows the best details of Pluto’s surface as seen by the Hubble Telescope. The two small inset pictures at the top are actual Hubble images.
