WINFREE OBSERVATORY PUBLIC OBSERVING SCHEDULE

UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE:

Winfree Observatory will no longer be open for public observing on a regular schedule. The reasons are:

1.  Attendance has been sparse at recent openings.

2. Student and faculty research projects conflict with public viewing.

3. Most of the people who attended public viewings now attend star parties sponsored by the Blue Ridge Astronomy Club. The astronomy club observes from much darker sites than the light polluted RMWC campus.
