WELCOME TO THE WRITING LAB
Visit the Writing Lab (Main 137) twenty-four hours a day to use our writing manuals, documentation handbooks, dictionaries, and many other resources. Of course, during tutoring hours Sunday through Friday, the Writing Lab's best resources are its tutors--master writers themselves. They are responsive, non-judgmental readers trained to help you to write the best that you can. While tutors cannot edit your writing for you, they do guide you to self-correct your work. They can assist you to brainstorm a topic, organize an introduction, construct a solid thesis, create coherent sentences, improve paragraph cohesion, answer grammar and punctuation questions, and much more. Visit the Writing Lab tutors at any stage of the writing process; they can provide the support you need.
