Some Definitions

Community (abridged, from Webster’s) n.

1. “unified body of individuals,” people with common interests living in a particular area; interacting population of various kinds of individuals (as a species) in a common location; body of persons of common and especially professional interests scattered through larger society; [from Pocket Webster’s]; “a body  of people living in the same place under the same laws”
