The Major
All majors complete core requirements (in political science, economics, and languages) and take specialized courses in their chosen focus area. Focus area specializations include diplomacy, peace and conflict resolution, and human rights. Students are encouraged to undertake off-campus learning experiences, including internships and study abroad.
Global Studies is one of the only majors that gives each student the freedom and responsibility to choose his/her own area of focus within the major and develop skills in that area in preparation for life after graduation. The student’s academic plan is unique and is determined through a close mentoring relationship with her/his faculty advisor. In the link below, you will find a guide to help you get started.
