Taken from a range of 1,150 meters. The image is 54 meters across. The large rock in lower left is 7.4 meters across.

Taken from a range of 700 meters. The image is 33 meters across.

Taken from a range of 250 meters. The image is 12 meters across. The cluster of rocks in the upper right is 1.4 meters across.

Taken from a range of 120 meters. The image is 6 meters across. This is the last image returned from NEAR. The vertical streaks at the bottom indicate loss of signal as the spacecraft touched down on Eros!
