Allison Farrow, 2008

Allison is an Environmental Studies major who enjoys backpacking and hopes to one day hike the whole Appalachian Trail.  Last summer Allison taught Boy Scouts ecology and conservation, which she plans on doing again this summer. Allison is also on the Wildcats soccer team and enjoys playing basketball and rugby.

       Julia Bryan, 2007

Julia is a Prime Time student majoring in Curricular Studies with a concentration in Environmental Studies.  She hopes to use her background in Environmental Studies to further the interest of elementary students in conservation of local ecosystems.

        Kelley Swain
, 2007 

Kelley Swain is an Environmental Studies concentration who is particularly interested in National Parks and conservation, as well as the Galapagos islands and tortoises. Kelley is currently at the University of Reading in the UK and has joined the Caving Club and the Mountaineering Club. She is also very enthusiastic about rock climbing.





                        Raquel Belury
, 2007

Raquel is an Environmental Studies major from Austin, Texas. She is on the equestrian team, and is involved in the Lynchburg Hillel. She has also done an internship with Camp Kumbaya in the Spring of 2006. With her Environmental Studies major, Raquel hopes to one day work with sustainable design and architecture.

                          
                                    Kiersten Weissinger
, 2008

Kiersten is an Environmental Studies Major who would like to pursue a career in the field of Environmental Advocacy. She is an active member of the Environmental Club and the Environmental Issues Council. Kiersten enjoys hiking, horse-back riding, and the outdoors in general. She is also interested in the preservation and study of biodiversity, as well as the education of the public on preservation and conservation issues.
