The emphasis of the American Culture Program is experience.

We believe that stepping outside the classroom and hitting the road is the best way to learn about our country's culture. In the Voices II class, students will have the opportunity to journey to work places, government agencies, churches, museums, and historic sites throughout the South. They will participate in a number of day trips, weekend trips, and an eight-day excursion through several states and sometimes beyond. Students will have the unique opportunity to hear the many ways that Americans define their culture, and see America in a way that no conventional classroom can offer.
