9 a.m.               Depart RMWC
12 p.m.             Park at Vienna metro station & ride into city
1:30 p.m.          National Museum of the American Indian
                            Lunch at the museum
5 p.m.                meet w/ Wizards cheerleaders (MCI Center)
7 p.m.               Wizards Game vs. LA Clippers at MCI Center

 Saturday

 9:30 a.m.          Free time in the morning
11:00 a.m.        Take Metro to Foggy Bottom lunch at GWU Student Center
1:00 p.m.          Laura Costas and Others from Vets for Peace @ GWU Marvin Center

From Laura, “Our members are veterans and also military families whose loved ones are serving or have served in the Iraq conflict (members of the group Military Families Speak Out). I fall into the latter category--my brother was there for 14 months and I've been viscerally motivated to understand what the war is about as a consequence. I have some very powerful stories and information to share and offer that readily." 

2:30 p.m.          Depart for Union Station
3:30 p.m.          take the train to Baltimore
4:15 p.m.          American Dime Museum

                           Baltimore, MD

 Currently occupying two floors, the ADM offers visitors a sample of both the "old time" dime museums and store shows as well as a more contemporary sideshow. The dime museum exhibition includes numerous recreations, from Fiji mermaids to shrunken heads, as well as original artifacts, including one of the only surviving Nelson Supply Co. giantess mummies. The sideshow features an extensive display of banners as well as genuine sideshow props and "backyard" paraphernalia. Extensive exhibition notes explain the attractions and let visitors in on the secrets of the business.

 5:30 p.m.          Time at the Harbor
7:30 p.m.          Dinner at Hard Rock Café
9:45 p.m.          Return to Washington

Sunday

8 a.m.               Breakfast, followed by group discussion
9:30 a.m.         Depart for National Museum of Air and Space                
                           Lunch at Museum on your own
12 p.m.            Depart for Vienna Station
1 p.m.              Stop at Hazy Center to view the Enola Gay

Return to R-MWC by 5:30 p.m.
