In the Spring of 2008, the American Culture
Program will tackle issues of American consumption. We'll look at the things
we consume - like food, land, water, energy, and oil. And we'll also look at
things that consume our imaginations, like ideas of beauty and celebrity,
reality television, and the dream wedding. And of course, we're especially
interested in where these thing intersect in American culture. As always, we'll hear from diverse American voices and hit the road to see America for ourselves. Join us!
