Andrea Campbell is Assistant Professor of Art at Randolph-Macon Woman's College, where she teaches Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque Art and Architecture. She earned her B.A. in Renaissance Studies from the American University, and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Art History from Rutgers University. A former Fulbright Fellow to Italy, Dr. Campbell has previously taught in a study abroad program in Urbino, Italy and at Montclair State University in New Jersey. With the assistance of a Ruth Borker Grant from R-MWC, she directed a Student-Faculty Summer Research Project on Women in the Renaissance. In 2006, she was selected to co-lead a student study tour on European Theatre in London and Edinburgh. Recently, she published an article on the Siena Baptistery for the distinguished scholarly journal Renaissance Quarterly. Before coming to R-MWC, Professor Campbell was a research scholar at Princeton University's Index of Christian Art. |
