A Study of American Freedom

Join us this spring as we explore issues of freedom in American culture. As always, we'll take an interdisciplinary approach in tackling a broad range of topics, such as:

Banned books and music
The war on drugs
Immigration
The Civil Rights Movement
Same-sex marriage
Religion

Once again, we'll invite voices from the community to join us in conversations each week. We'll also hit the road to see and experience the things we're studying in the classroom. We'll hit the road to explore Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia, and then take a trip through the South ending in New Orleans.
