Reason
for attending R-MWC
: I visited R-MWC in February of my senior year of high school. I fell in love with it all: the traditions, the community, the sisterhood. By the time my overnight visit came to an end, I didn't want to leave. Everything I wanted was right here, and I knew that R-MWC was the best place in the world for me.
What
about the Program are you looking forward to the most? I have been an American for twenty-one years, and can talk for hours about the political landscape--the facts--of the country, but what do I really know about the culture until I see it first hand? I’m hoping to get into law school after graduation, and a lawyer who doesn’t understand the people she’s representing as more than facts and numbers isn’t a very good lawyer. I think the Program will give me a unique outlook on America. The ‘American Foodways’ theme seems extremely fascinating. Plus there are no classes on Mondays and Fridays! |
